Shaun has more than 20 years of experience in the roofing and building envelope industry in Canada. He began his career by working towards his Red Seal Journeyman Roofer certification, gaining extensive hands‑on experience with a wide range of steep‑ and low‑slope roofing systems. This trade background provided a strong foundation in roof design, materials, constructability, and overall building envelope performance. In previous roles, Shaun reviewed projects from schematic design through to tender, assessed roofing and building envelope designs for code compliance, durability, constructability, and lifecycle performance. His responsibilities included evaluating existing roofing systems, providing guidance on roof replacement and maintenance strategies, supporting clients with practical, performance‑based recommendations and management of roof replacement projects. Shaun is an ARCA Accepted Inspector and can provide inspection and consulting services to comply with the ARCA warranty requirements.
